This letter to the editor was authored and given to us by Eileen Archer. (Eileen is the Secretary of the Moorestown Republican Club).

Kudos to Nancy Powers on her letter commenting on the many problems we now have in town. Poor lighting, inferior Christmas decorations (in fact I would say that I didn't even know that we were celebrating a Holiday when I looked down Main Street at night during the Christmas Season), failed library contract, inadequate medical coverage for town employees, too many outside consultants ( I wonder how many of the consultants are associates of the Town Council), and a poorly written Preservation Commission Ordinance which Council passed before it was even in its' final form!

What Nancy Powers neglected to say, though, was that this failed leadership all happened when the majority of liberal lawyers (four of them now), tax and spend Democrats, took over the Town Council from the Republicans.

It's time those of us whose families helped create and make Moorestown the place in which everyone seems to want  to live, start to SPEAK UP!  Enough is finally enough!  Your Visioning Plan, Town Council, is just a smoke screen to continue to change the Moorestown that you originally moved here to enjoy. The changes will not be for the better.  We don't want to live in a town like Cherry Hill or Gloucester City.

Your high taxes, Town Council (which I'm told are going higher) and novice, liberal leadership are destroying our town.
